Strategic Planning for Diaspora Organizations

The International Diaspora Engagement Initiative, a public-private partnership between the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and Calvert Foundation organized a webinar on diaspora strategic planning.

Organizations working with and serving diaspora communities, such as TAYP, are often small and staffed by volunteers. Growing an organization, enhancing its financial resources and increasing its impact can appear to be a daunting challenge. Strategic planning can help attain the organization’s goals. This one-hour webinar described the process of strategic planning for diaspora organizations, what an organization can expect from the process, and how an organization needs to prepare. Just like the information gathered during the Global Diaspora Forums of the past years, this is critical information that TAYP continues to inspire itself from.

The webinar recording is now available here. The Power Point presentation is now available here.
