Mariem Malouche is a Senior Economist at the World Bank Middle East and North Africa Region since 2004. She has an extensive expertise in trade policy, regional integration, export development, and diaspora. Mariem led, authored and contributed to a number of country level policy dialogue, development policy loans, and reports focused on North Africa, South Asia and Eastern Europe, notably Morocco, Libya, Tunisia, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Mauritius, and Lao DPR. Mariem continues to support and lead TAYP’s economic initiatives to provide fast and tactical mechanisms to Tunisia’s economic challenges and advocate economic reforms that meet international best practices and Tunisia’s needs. Mariem, earned her PhD in International Economics from University Paris-Dauphine in France, and her bachelor degree from University of Tunis III.
