Tunisian American Young Professionals (TAYP) to Honor Nobel Prize Winner Moungi Bawendi

Seattle, WA – The Tunisian American Young Professionals Association (TAYP) is proud to announce its upcoming tribute to Nobel Prize Winner Moungi Bawendi during the 2024 retreat in Seattle,WA. In 2023, Bawendi was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, recognizing his remarkable contributions to the field. Pr.Bawendi embodies Tunisian excellence on the global stage. He will be presented with the TAYP Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his outstanding achievements.

Mohamed Malouche, Chairman of the Board of TAYP, expressed the organization’s honor in recognizing Moungi Bawendi’s exceptional contributions to the field of chemistry and his representation of Tunisian excellence on the global stage. “His achievements serve as an inspiration to us all, and we are proud to present him with the TAYP Lifetime Achievement Award,” said Malouche.

TAYP’s highly anticipated annual retreat is scheduled to take place on May 18th, 2024, at the picturesque Edmonds Waterfront Center in Seattle, WA. This year’s retreat promises to unite professionals, thought leaders, and innovators for a day of networking, collaboration, and inspiration.

The retreat will include visits to the Google and Amazon campuses in Seattle, offering attendees a unique opportunity to explore innovation firsthand.

Attendees of the TAYP retreat will engage in meaningful discussions, learn from inspiring success stories, and explore new initiatives in entrepreneurship, education, healthcare, IT, and finance/business. Dr. Zied Mhirsi, President of TAYP, and Imen Hannachi, Vice President and member of the Organizing Committee, emphasized the importance of providing Tunisians on the West Coast with opportunities to connect and showcase their achievements. “The TAYP retreat serves as a platform to spotlight the talents and contributions of Tunisian professionals in this vibrant region,” they said.
