Firas BenAchour
Firas BenAchour served as TAYP President from 2013-2016. He is a seasoned healthcare and technology entrepreneur and a senior executive with 25 years of experience working with technology and healthcare startups, an angel investor and a mentor for several young entrepreneurs in the MENA region. Firas is a Senior Healthcare IT Consultant working with startups to develop their go-to-market strategy. Previously, Firas was the CEO of Diagnosoft (2008-2012),a venture-backed healthcare technology unique startup offering Cardiac Image Analyses solutions, located in the Research Triangle Park in Morrisville, North Carolina. As TAYP member and president, Firas has been leading TAYP efforts relative to entrepreneurship, in particular the Startup RISE project, business competitions organized in cooperation with GEP and GIST, and the technical support to young Tunisian entrepreneurs. He has represented TAYP in all technology, entrepreneurship and angel investment events.
